The
Frankfurt music fair is about making music. One method of doing
this is to take conventional musical instruments like double bass,
accordeon, drums and guitar as seen in the picture taken on the
Dynacord area. These guys were really grooving.
Electronic
music performed on an analog synthesizer can also be highly fun
generating. This really looks more like a patch bay in a telephone
central. What I absolutely like about these synthesizers is the
fact that you learn much about how music is created (Attack,
Decay, Sustain, Release) and which components
musical waves are consisting of.
Performing music sometimes need "bigger" loudspeakers
when performed in huge arenas or stadiums. Just one example by
Nexo seen on the left.
Having the light already in the first half of the name of the
show you can imagine that all kinds of light effects have taken
huge parts of the exhibition space at the ProLight + Sound in
Frankfurt.
Concentrating on audio and the headphone niche made me nearly
completely ignore this. Although I do appreciate a decent show
I am more likely to enjoy the music in complete darkness than
looking at a brilliant show with a poor sound...
Nevertheless
when I came out of the exhibition after nearly ten hours with
aching feet I saw a light object that caught my attention and
made me take a picture. |
