company I visited was Beyerdynamic. Although their booth was much
smaller than the one of Sennheiser but not less crowded. They came
up with new generations of their 770 - 990 series with the suffix
"premium". They also allow people to order custom made headphones
with different colors and materials for certain parts.As my UK distributor
(Henley Design) is also distributing the Beyerdynamicconsumer
products I had a nice talk with Gunter Weidemann, Manager of the Acoustics
Department.
Every headphone company made great efforts to get the people to their
booth. At Sennheiser a DJ was in action, AKG had the nice idea with
the plane seats and at Beyerdynamic you could win a pair of custom
made headphones up to 400,- EUR. You just had to win the Karaoke contest
first...
I have to admit that I'm not really into Karaoke but the echo from
the audience was quite nice. Below you see the new looks of some well
