On
the left side three headfiers are listening. In the foreground Jonas
(alis "Glod") uses his HD650 with Sefan Art cable to enjoy
analog music played through the analog
setup. Behind him Luuk uses the CD1 setup and in the background
his fellow is using the X202 ES with an older AKG headphone, the K240
DF. This version was developed for prodessional listeing in (mostly)
public radio stations. All headphone amps at that table were Black
Cube Linear of yours truly.
All in all I had four setups with me and working during the meeting.
The setups with digital sources were:
- CD1: Sony CDP-557 ESD heavily modified by Symphonic Line
(and with a final weight of around 18kg) into a Black Cube Linear.

- CD2: Sony X202-ES, modified by myself (power supply, electrolytic
caps, active stages) into a Black Cube Linear. Interconnect: Voodoo

- Laptop: Acer Travelmate 332T "prehistoric" ;-)
(or how else would you call a PII-366...) connected via a standard
USB cable to a Black Cube Linear USB prototype. Material on the Laptop
was mostly 160k MP3.
